The kids and I spent a fun hour and a half tonight making collages. While they worked on their pieces I made two postcards to use in the future with Postcrossing.
Today Sean and I made collages to pass time while it pours outside. Sean did a large collage involving robots, volcanoes and other mayhem. He plans to take it to school tomorrow for show and tell.
Meanwhile I made three postcards. If you are on Postcrossing and like homemade cards, you might get one of them.
I am working through my next project. I'm drawing in the background first. It's fun working with such a limited range of colors.

Sean made it for me with Photoshop. We drew the flower together and then he turned it into a custom shape which he then used to make this icon.

Just for giggles I looked one last time in the under-the-stairs closet for rubbergirl's art supplies. The bag was right where I remembered leaving it. What's up with that? I swear I have a personal poltergeist who likes to hide stuff from me only to put the stuff back when I've given up looking.

Two weeks ago I bought most of the paints I'll need for the cat portrait I'm painting for rubbergirl. I remember putting them with my other paints in my under the stairs closet. Guess what? They're not there. Where the heck are they?
