There seems to be new style of landscape (specifically aerial) photography that results in images that appear to be detailed miniatures. Metropolis Magazine has an article on one of the founders of this style, Olivo Barbieri. I'm on the fence about this new aesthetic. On the one hand I do like having new ways at seeing the world and architecture and the interplay between nature and construct but at the same time I feel like I'm being cheated out of an even better view. I just hope this new style doesn't become something that everyone has to do to be part of the art scene.

P.S. -- ewww. My cat just licked my toes.
