Last month I started a list of books I'm glad I read when I was inspired by the "1001 books you should read before you die" list. Here is the second in my on going series. I will keep posting books in bursts of 100. Each list will be alphetized and will have a mixture of genres. I don't necessarily like every book listed but do feel I've come away with something for having read the book.

Inspired by comments I received on my post about "The 1001 Books You Must Read before you Die", I have decided to compile my own list of favorites rendered down from a list I've kept since 1987 of everything I've read. I'll post an alphabetical list in chuncks of 100 as I go through my list of 3000+ books. I will include all genres based on what titles have stuck with me. Many will be books you've probably seen on other lists. Some will have literary merit. Some won't but they will all be ones that have stayed with me.

I'm sure most of you have seen the list of the "1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die". I recently saw a blog post that listed out the ones that blogger had read and it came out to 32. Although I must admit to having no intention of reading the entire list as I do enough reading of enough variety already, I was curious to see how many I have read or have immediate plans to read. Adding together the read and the to be read, I come just shy of 2%.
