Harriet has really taken up talking the last few weeks. Some recent conversations with her:
Harriet: Where's Sean?
Me: He's at school.
H: Does he have his shoes?
Me: Yes.
H: Do you have your shoes?
Me: No. I'm not wearing shoes right now.
H: You need your shoes.
....
Harriet while I'm reading a book: What's your book about?
Me: It's about a man who lives a long time and knows artists in Italy.
H: Oh wow. That's a long book.
....
Harriet while playing fort under our kitchen table: Hey! I found coffee!
(She proudly holds up a tiny sample bag of coffee we had gotten as a stocking stuffer and promptly forgotten about)
Me: Oh dear. You shouldn't have that!
H: I'll bring it to you, okay?Current Mood:  chipper |
did harriet have her shoes? too cute!
Yes, she had her shoes. :)
